Youth Mass, Sunday May 18th Youth Mass for all 4 parshes will be held Sunday, May 18th at 10:30 am St. Francis Xavier Mass. Father Mitchel Zimmerman the new Vocation Director will be celebrating the Mass and giving a presentation following Mass in the parish hall. Lunch will follow for everyone. All students and parents are encouraged to attend. If you have questions, please contact Father. Eucharistic Family Rosary Crusade, Sunday May 25th Eucharistic Family Rosary Crusade for the Kansas City area is being held on Sunday, Feast of Corpus Christi, May 25th at 3pm at the Kansas City Royals Stadium. This event is being sponsored by the Archdiocese of Kansas City, KS and the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph. It will be an opportunity for thousands of people gathered together as one voice to publicly manifest our Catholic Faith. More information will follow. Marriage Encounter Weekends for 2008 Married couples wanting to deepen and enrich their relationship are encouraged to attend. The weekend is designed to help married couples communicate more intimately with one another. The weekend is free from everyday distractions and tensions. An atmosphere is created so the couple can concentrate exclusively on one another in a private and confidential environment. Catholic Engaged Encounter Schedule for 2008 These weekends run from Friday night at 7 pm until 5 pm on Sunday. The couple MUST STAY the entire time to receive their certificates. The cost is $200 per couple and includes meals, lodging and supplies needed for the encounter. This is a MANDATORY requirement for marriage in the Archdiocese of Kansas City. Totus Tuus, July 19th-25th Totus Tuus will be held again this summer at St. Francis Xavier. This is a Catholic youth program led by trained college students who come to the parish to lead students. It is a great way for our youth to grow in understanding their Catholic faith, to spend time in prayer and to have fun!
